RULES

Updates. These are required at least once a month, but we encourage you to do more. Most communities request updates every two weeks, so there is no reason you shouldn't be able to create at least one substantial (Substantial: of ample or considerable amount, quantity, size, etc.) update a month. Brand new characters need to have a first post up within the first two weeks, then every 4 weeks thereafter. If you require time off for any reason, please request a hiatis with the mods by commenting the friends add tool inside the mod journal (tubetv). Journals should be set as "Friends Only."
Hiatuses. These are 3 weeks max. Longer hiatuses may be granted in extreme circumstances and to our discretion (death in the family, end of term finals, etc.--Must be an EXTREMELY good reason to exceed 3 weeks), so long as there is communication with tubetv. Post ALL hiatis requests here. Any hiatis requests posted anywhere else will not be considered as "granted", leaving you in danger of being removed.
Meme hell. There is a reason there's a random comm--for random things. No meme's in personal journals unless they're surrounded by an actual post. If you put one in the random comm it must be completely behind a cut tag.
Character History. If you don't like the way things are going, or shit just happens, it doesn't give you the right to nuke your history and start over. Other people's lines are co dependent to things you have written and nuking information alters their realities as well. Therefore, any character history altering has to be pre-approved and can only be done if 1) your SL partner leaves the game and takes away a pregnancy line or something like that, 2) Someone joins the game that is taking on a character that pre existed in the game, causing a story shift, or 3) Someone else is forced to revamp a line because of options 1 and 2 and it seriously affects yours. All three options require pre-approval from the mod.
AIM. Absolutely no blocking anyone, and please keep your B/L up to date. Be active on AIM. This means signing in periodically, not once every few weeks.
Entries. No first entry will be required, but you must supply either an AIM or entry sample to join. After acceptance, you must post an entry up within your first two weeks of game time so we know you're still with us. After that, one substantial post a month is sufficient.
Sanity. Keep IC and OOC separate, and no puppeting or godmodding. Limited puppeting rights can be allowed only by permission of the person in question when said person is on a hiatis. Any OOC harrassment will not be tolerated and comes with immediate expulsion. Proof of harrassment must come in the form of copies of entire AIM logs with timestamps sent to the mod email (tubetvmods@yahoo.com).
Sexuality. Slash is not only accepted, it's encouraged. This is a straight/bi/gay friendly community. If you don't care for any of that, please don't submit an application. However, the usual NO's apply (suicide, rape, incest, pedophilia, etc. NONONO)
Pregnancy. If you would like to have your character become pregnant, please consult the mod through private message or e-mail. The father/prospective father of the child must be completely on board with your pregnancy S/L before you make any request with the mod--Both characters must be in agreement with the S/L. Should you decide to head in the direction of a pregnancy storyline, we will then get back to you with our approval and log your expected due date. All pregnancies must be carried to term (36-40 weeks). Any desired deviation must be approved by the mods. The only exception to this guideline is RL pregnancies your character currently has. Birth/due dates are driven by what occurs in reality in these instances only.
Journals. Keep the underscores in your user-name to a minimum, we're also limiting your amount of x's to one (unless you're using an old/existing journal, in which case you must have pre-approval to use that journal). Also, be sure your AIM name relates to your character's name for less confusion. No deleting journal entries or comments to anything you post (unless there are multiple repeats due to journal malfunctions). Know your character. You can't have them doing something so far out of the realm of reality that it becomes an AU. (i.e. Randy gets abducted by aliens and comes back cute as a button; Jared shaves his head and becomes part of the Hare Krishna, and Angelina gives up all her kids to become a nun.)
Character Limit. There is no character limit. However, when requesting to take on another character, you are required to name all your other characters. You will be rewarded additional characters at the mod's discretion. The number of times your other characters have been warned to update, and your AIM/commenting activity will be factors taken into consideration. You may NOT play someone in the same band, or current fandom (i.e. you would not be allowed to play both Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles because they both currently star in Supernatural together).
Disclaimer. All journals are required to have multiple disclaimers. Please link to the Fuse Underground Disclaimer on your journals "website" selection. Please also add a text disclaimer somewhere on your user information.
Join. Once you have applied, please request to join the communities: fuseunderground, celebplaylist, tipofyourtongue, thesecretsauce, pntsoffdanceoff and keystothevip. If you're accepted we will approve your requests and you can begin game play immediately. If you were not accepted, your application will be deleted.
Acceptance. Once you're accepted, load the AIM buddy list and utilize the friend's add tool in the mod journal (tubetv), then make an intro post on fuseunderground and have fun!
